About
Connor K. Yi earned his Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs, graduating with distinction from the University of Virginia. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Washington Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and as Treasurer for the Korean American Law Student Association. During law school, he completed an externship with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of General Counsel and a judicial internship with the Honorable Cynthia Callahan in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
A lifelong resident of the DMV area, Connor brings a meticulous approach to every case and serves as a dedicated advocate for his clients. He began his career serving as a litigation attorney for the New York City Department of Education, representing the District in settlement conferences and due process hearings related to special education claims. He then worked at a premier Washington, D.C. firm, where he focused his practice on medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. Most recently, he worked as a plaintiff's attorney at an employment law firm with a heavy federal practice, appearing regularly before the Eastern District of Virginia.
Connor is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia, Maryland, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Connor now focuses his practice on personal injury at W. Thomas Yi & Associates, where he represents clients across the DMV. He has been recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Personal Injury Litigation.
